Refugee

​Building walls and other 'keep those people out' strategies around your village, your region, your country or your entire planet (your so-called homeland), is astoundingly expensive, has no real return on investment and is an overreaction to fear. An overreaction to False Evidence Appearing Real. ​

It actually damages your people to build these walls. These walls serve to increase that irrational fear even more, resulting in even higher walls, and a vicious circle. 

These walls disrupt business that depends on being connected to other people outside your 'homeland', and that pretty much means all business because the economy in the 21st Century is inextricably global. Denying the global basis of your economy is actually more blinkered than denying global warming or evolution. 

Xenophobia is based on unfamiliarity with people who are superficially different. They may look different, speak a different language, support a different sports team or wear different clothes. 

They may even be deluded by a different religion from the one you've been fooled into!

Like Chinese, Italian or Japanese food, all strange things eventually become familiar. Those people the fear-mongers tell you to distrust or even hate, will easily become productive members of your own homeland community, if you would just let them. Or do you really want to maintain your isolation, because your children won't... That was a rhetorical question. 

U Particles (thoughts) and UPWaves (ideas) travel as fast as your Consciousnesses can generate thought. No wall, whether it's made of bricks or lasers, can keep UPWaves out. No UPWave can die as long as there is a single Consciousness holding it. You may hate an UPWave, somebody else's UPWave no doubt, but you won't be able to keep it away. 

You may call for more rigorous strategies for interviewing and frisking these 'strangers', before you let them into your homeland. But be careful, because the more you fortify your defenses against these strange people and their peculiar UPWaves, the more you will generate their distrust of your UPWaves. And with that distrust, these strangers become even less productive than they would have been. And so the distrust builds, back and forth. 

ALL you humans want to 'do the right thing', and you all say it repeatedly, until you believe it. Some of you say that you believe in the 2nd Amendment while you distrust even a 3 year old homeless orphan who was born in a foreign land. That kind of UPWave generation will turn the clock back centuries.

Aren't you better than that? What moral high ground did you fight your wars from? Were they a waste of time? Were they a joke? 

The time has come for all humans to embrace all other humans, no matter what they look like, sound like or smell like. Those strange UPWaves they are forming today will be held and defended by your children or grandchildren tomorrow, as will your UPWaves be held and defended by their descendants. That's the human condition. The more you mix it up now, the better your future and the better your planet. Fear-mongers and other terrorists thrive on people distrusting one another. Don't be that person. ​
